Genshin Impact Beginner’s Guide to Kaedehara Kazuha
Kaedehara Kazuha, a wandering samurai hailing from Inazuma, now resides within the Crux Fleet of Liyue Harbor, known as ‘The Crux’. He is humble and gentle in demeanor. Beneath his youthful and carefree appearance lie many untold stories. While he may seem casual, he holds his own principles close to his heart。
Kaedehara Kazuha, a 5-star Anemo sword character, is positioned as a versatile damage-boosting support. His Ascension attributes focus on increasing Elemental Mastery. At level 90, his Ascension increases Elemental Mastery by a total of 115 points.
As a top-tier support, the primary focus lies in its inherent functional positioning: damage enhancement, monster aggregation capability, and easily controlled field coloring. These functions are the fundamental strengths of this character.
Damage Enhancement
He can bring efficient and low-cost damage enhancement to the team. When triggering elemental reactions, Kazuha increases his teammates’ Elemental Damage by 0.04% per point of Elemental Mastery, up to 40% maximum. When combined with the Anemo resonance, the effect is remarkable.
Aggregation Capability
Kaedehara Kazuha’s ability to draw enemies is also formidable. His Elemental Skill is centered around himself when released, drawing nearby enemies towards Kazuha’s location.
Field Coloring Easy Control
The third highlight lies in the high controllability of field coloring. Both Kazuha’s Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill can color the field. The coloring assessment range includes all units within the field, not just those near the Eye of the Storm. Additionally, since both the Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst are released centered around the character, the elements attached to the character are also considered in the coloring assessment.
Explanation of Coloring Mechanism
Kaedehara Kazuha’s skill coloring follows the priority order of Fire – Water – Thunder – Ice. When we want to color the field with a specific element, we only need to ensure that the desired element type is present within the skill range and that there are no higher-priority element types.
Introduction to Skills and Inherent Talents。
Skill Introduction
Normal Attack
Damage Boosting Support, neither normal attacks nor charged attacks are used.
As the main DPS, Kazuha needs to unlock 6 constellations. After using his Elemental Skill or Burst, he gains the Anemo Infusion for 5 seconds and also boosts normal attack damage.
Elemental Skill
It can be triggered by tapping or holding.
Tapping applies a weak Anemo element infusion and generates 3 wind spirits.
Holding generates a strong wind, creating 4 wind spirits. Apart from pulling in enemies and aggregating them, it can also pull in Xiangling’s Guoba and Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty. When exploring, tapping in mid-air can provide additional height.
Ultimate: Kazuha Slash
Kazuha’s ultimate effect is indeed quite poetic, with the magnificent maple leaves swirling in the area, presenting a splendid sight. Those who wish to witness the beauty of the maple leaves can take a look at the Kazuha genshin bracelet, featuring translucent gradient enamel maple leaves, reminiscent of red maple leaves under the autumn sun. Custom beaded accessories restore the details of the character’s attire, and matching kazuha glasses accessories are also available.
The ultimate consists of 6 damage stages, with the first being a slashing damage, followed by 5 stages of continuous damage. If it comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, there will be 5 instances of spread reactions and 5 instances of converted additional elemental damage.
Both the ultimate and Elemental Skill’s spread reactions can trigger inherent talents to gain elemental damage bonuses. Elemental damage bonuses are converted from Elemental Mastery.
Inherent Talent Introduction
【Ode to the Wind’s Resolute】 serves as a core damage-boosting talent. When triggering spread reactions, the team gains elemental damage bonuses [Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements], allowing for the simultaneous triggering of multiple elemental damage bonuses. With 1000 Elemental Mastery, there is a conversion of 40% elemental damage bonus. It can be seen that Kazuha primarily enhances the Elemental Mastery attribute. This damage boost, combined with the 40% resistance reduction from the Viridescent Venerer artifact set, can increase elemental damage for the main DPS by at least 60%.
